This Cookie Policy explains how Alvea Space uses cookies and similar technologies on www.alvea.space.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that may be stored on your device when you visit a website.
They can be used for different purposes, such as ensuring that a website functions correctly, remembering preferences or analysing how visitors use a website.
Other technologies, such as local storage or similar tracking mechanisms, may also fall under the rules applicable to cookies and electronic communications.
2. How we use cookies
Alvea Space aims to keep the use of cookies on its website to a minimum.
The website is primarily intended to provide information about Alvea Space and its activities and to allow visitors to contact us.
We use cookies or similar technologies only where they are necessary for the proper functioning, security and operation of the website, or where their use is otherwise permitted under applicable legislation.
At present, we do not use cookies for:
- behavioural advertising;
- selling or sharing visitor data with advertising networks;
- social media tracking;
- personalised advertising.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
Some cookies may be strictly necessary for the website to function correctly.
These cookies may, for example, be required to:
- maintain the technical operation of the website;
- ensure website security;
- manage a visitor's session;
- support technical functions provided by the Drupal content management system.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require prior consent where they are genuinely necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the visitor or to operate the website.
4. Analytics and tracking cookies
Alvea Space uses Google Analytics to measure and analyse the use of the website.
Google Analytics helps us understand, for example, how visitors arrive at the website, which pages are visited and how visitors interact with the content. This information is used to improve the website and its content.
Google Analytics is an analytics service provided by Google LLC.
Analytics cookies and similar technologies are non-essential cookies. They are therefore only activated after you have given your prior consent through our cookie consent mechanism.
You can refuse analytics cookies without affecting your ability to browse and use the website.
Google Analytics cookies
Depending on the configuration of Google Analytics, the service may place or use cookies such as:
- _ga – used to distinguish users and maintain information about website usage;
- ga[measurement-ID] – used to maintain the state of the Google Analytics session.
The exact cookies, their duration and the information processed may vary depending on Google's technical configuration and the configuration implemented on the website.
For detailed information about Google's cookies and data processing, please refer to Google's documentation and privacy information.
Managing your consent
You can accept or refuse analytics cookies through the cookie consent mechanism displayed when you first visit the website.
You can also withdraw or modify your consent at any time through the website's cookie settings.
If you refuse analytics cookies, Google Analytics will not be activated for your visit.
5. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through the settings of your web browser.
Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect the proper functioning of certain parts of the website.
If non-essential cookies are introduced in the future, you will be provided with an appropriate mechanism to manage your preferences and, where required, give or withdraw your consent.
6. Changes to this Cookie Policy
Alvea Space may update this Cookie Policy when the website, its technical configuration or the cookies and similar technologies used on the website change.
The latest version will always be made available on this page, together with its date of update.
